One day, real robots, frontier models, and no simulators. Saturday Robotics and Robotics Center of Silicon Valley are running a hardware hackathon at our San Francisco lab, also billed as Reading Club #35.
Robotics Center provides the hardware: the M1 dual-arm mobile manipulator, a Unitree G1 humanoid, a Unitree Go2 quadruped, an OpenArm robotic arm, the Wuji Hand 2 dexterous hand, and the Wuji Glove teleoperation glove, alongside Aloha leader arms, tactile sensor kits, cameras, and spare parts. Mentors from the Bay Area robotics community are on the floor for the whole day.
It is built for researchers, founders, engineers, and students working on robot learning, VLA policies, world models, teleoperation, and data collection. Come as a team of one to four, or come on your own and find a team during the morning matching session.
The schedule below is the organizers' published plan and is explicitly tentative. Tracks and prizes will be announced closer to the day, and sponsorship inquiries are welcome through the Luma page.
