Return & Exchange Policy

Overview
Silicon Valley Robotics Center (SVRC) accepts returns and exchanges for defective products. We stand behind the quality of every item we sell. If your product arrives with a manufacturing defect, shipping damage, or does not match the ordered specification, we will make it right.

How to Request a Return or Exchange
- Contact us at contact@roboticscenter.ai with your order number, item description, and photos of the defect or damage.
- Wait for approval — our team will review your request within 2 business days and issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number if approved.
- Ship the item — pack the product securely in its original packaging. Include the RMA number on the outside of the box. We will provide a prepaid shipping label for defective items.
- Receive your refund or replacement — once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process a refund to your original payment method or ship a replacement within 5 business days.
Exchanges
We accept exchanges for defective products. If you received a defective unit, we will ship a replacement at no additional cost once the defective item is received. If you would like to exchange for a different product or configuration, the price difference (if any) will be charged or refunded accordingly.
Non-Returnable Items
- Products without reported defects or damage (change-of-mind returns are not accepted)
- Items modified, disassembled, or damaged by the customer
- Consumable items (cables, connectors, 3D-printed parts) unless defective on arrival
- Completed service work (repair, maintenance, data collection labor)
- Software licenses and digital products
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are submitted within 3 business days of receiving the returned item. Your bank or card issuer may take an additional 5-10 business days to post the credit to your account. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
Shipping costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, defective product, or shipping damage). Return shipping for defective items is covered by SVRC.
International Returns
International customers are eligible for the same return policy. Return shipping costs for international orders are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective. Import duties and taxes paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable by SVRC — please contact your local customs authority for duty refund procedures.
Warranty
All new hardware sold by SVRC includes a standard manufacturer warranty against manufacturing defects. Refurbished products include a 90-day SVRC warranty. Extended warranty coverage is available for lab and enterprise deployments — contact us for details.
Order Cancellations
Orders can be canceled before shipment or pickup confirmation for a full refund. Once an order has shipped, it is subject to the return policy above. To cancel an order, email contact@roboticscenter.ai with your order number.
