Robotics Center Dexterity Day + IROS Recap
Robotics Center · 90 Welsh St, San Francisco, CA 94107
A day at our San Francisco lab built around dexterous hands, tactile gloves, and the data they produce — Wuji Hand 2, Sharpa, BrainCo Revo, OmniHand, and LinkerBot on the floor, live tactile manipulation demos, a guest panel on the dexterity data problem, and a recap of IROS.

Dexterity Day is our own event at the San Francisco lab: a day built around dexterous hands, tactile sensing, and the data they produce, paired with a recap of what mattered at IROS. It is hosted by Robotics Center of Silicon Valley, with Jerry Huang and Grace Cui organizing.
The floor brings together dexterous hands from across the ecosystem — Wuji Hand 2, the Sharpa hand, the BrainCo Revo hand, OmniHand, and LinkerBot — alongside tactile gloves including the Wuji glove, the RC G1 glove, and the Manus glove.
Live demonstrations run throughout: real-time dexterous hand control driven by tactile input, touch and pressure visualization while an object is being manipulated, and coordinated hand-and-arm manipulation. We will also walk through the datasets behind that work, covering real-world manipulation, tactile, force, and robot motion data.
A guest panel, Solving the Dexterity Data Problem, covers robot training data, human and tactile demonstrations, building hardware and data at scale, and what it actually takes to get from research to deployment. Attendees can also find out how to get access to Robotics Center's dexterous hardware and data.
Attendance is by approval and spots are limited. The start time has not been announced yet — check the Luma page before the day.
