Quaternion
Eine vierkomponentige mathematische Darstellung einer 3D-Rotation: q = (w, x, y, z), wobei w der Skalar-Teil und (x, y, z) der Vektor-Teil ist. Einheits-Quaternionen stellen Rotationen ohne Gimbal Lock dar (im Gegensatz zu Euler-Winkeln) und interpolieren glatt via SLERP. Sie sind die Standard-Rotationsdarstellung in Roboter-Steuerung, ROS-Transformationen und Physik-Simulatoren.
