Why we benchmark prices every quarter

Robotics hardware pricing moves fast. Humanoid wholesale costs have fallen meaningfully this year as Booster, Unitree, and others moved from pilot into volume shipping. At the same time, consumer compute (Raspberry Pi, Jetson) has been working through the tail end of the 2025 DRAM and NAND spike. A price list anchored to Q4 2025 will be wrong in both directions by mid-2026.

To keep our catalog honest, we benchmark every quarter against twelve distributors and direct manufacturer storefronts, and price every SKU at market median × 1.15 -- enough to cover configuration, support, logistics, and a healthy margin floor.

What went down

The biggest wins for buyers this quarter are on humanoid and gripper SKUs:

  • Booster K1 -- dropped by $5,400. This is the largest single absolute decrease in the catalog and reflects Booster's expanded production capacity.
  • Unitree A2 Pro -- dropped by $2,900. The A2 line has been our best-selling quadruped and the savings flow straight through to research labs running fleets.
  • Unitree G1 EDU -- dropped by $2,850, bringing the educational humanoid below the $19k mark.
  • AgileX Pika Gripper -- dropped by $850, a meaningful percentage cut on a popular data-collection accessory.
  • Kinova Gen3 Lite -- dropped by $1,500 to match Kinova's revised distributor pricing.

What went up

Consumer compute moved the other way. Raspberry Pi 5 (16GB), Jetson Orin Nano Super, and the Jetson AGX Orin 64GB dev kit all increased between 8% and 30% to reflect the 2025 memory commodity cycle. We were among the last distributors holding the old number.

We also filled in pricing for about a dozen SKUs previously listed as "request a quote" -- mostly Ouster LiDAR variants. Quote-only listings are friction for buyers and we would rather show a real number.

Any quote we sent you in the last 14 days is honored at its original price. If the new price is lower than what you were quoted, just reply to the original email and we will re-issue at the lower number -- you do not need to ask. If the new price is higher, your original quote remains valid for 14 days from the date we sent it.
