The OAK-D-S2 belongs to the Series 2 product line, which mounts the VPU (Myriad X) directly onto the main circuit board rather than on a System-on-Module (SoM), resulting in a more compact and lightweight design. This device integrates depth perception, object detection (neural inference), and object tracking, offering an easy-to-use Python API to help you implement these capabilities. It features three onboard cameras—one 4K/30fps color camera and two monochrome stereo cameras—along with a BNO086 IMU and a USB 3 interface, allowing you to connect to and use the device with standard computers, Raspberry Pi boards, and other popular embedded host systems.
